- The Cardiff Warriors & Cardiff City Council are hosting a Cardiff based 3 on 3 tournament for over 16's on sunday the 19th of september @ the pavilion youth club, from 12pm -3pm, teams will be put into groups on the day & the winners of each group will advance to play against each other in a 'knock-out' format untill only one team is left standing! All clubs welcome, from both in & out of Cardiff....

* £10 per team entry (split between your 3/4 players) payable on the day
* The tornament champions will be awarded with trophies
* all clubs will get free-t-shirts
* Closing of entry date is friday the 17th of september (please confirm with Nas, or by email to cardiffwarriors@hotmail.co.uk with your list of players & team name)

IMPORTANT NOTICE
To All Welsh based referees and table officials:
To officiate in a match on Welsh soil you must register as an official with Basketball Wales every season.
As an official your duties include ensuring that the coaches and players of any Welsh based club you are officiating for, irrespective of the competition they are involved in i.e. EBL, WEBBA, Wirral League, Philipino competition etc, are also registered with Basketball Wales. To do this you should examine their registration cards prior to the match. Anyone without proof of a current Welsh registration should not be permitted to participate in the match.
You should not officiate for any Welsh based club whose coach or players are not registered with Basketball Wales.

Wales Dominate at Flanders 2010
The Wales U20 squad travelled to Gent, Belgium last Friday to play in the Flanders Basketball tournament from the 19th - 23rd September. The national won the group and didn't lose one game!
